We are looking for a Qualified Teacher of Psychology and Sociology to join our team at Q3 Academy Great Barr.

Key responsibilities:

  • Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives that are relevant to all students in your classes.
  • Select and prepare a range of resources that take into account all students’ learning needs, languages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Apply a range of teaching strategies to deliver learning objectives and incorporate inclusive strategies that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and manage the work of support staff to enhance students’ learning.

Pay range: MPS/UPS- £32,916 - £51,048

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent.
  • Degree in subject specialism.
  • Ability to teach ‘good or outstanding’ lessons.
  • Effective classroom management.
