Birmingham Children’s Trust is looking for a Senior Practitioner in Learning to join the established Learning Academy Team. This hybrid role is based in Birmingham and requires right‑to‑work documents for the UK. Sponsorship is not supported.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of practitioners across a range of programmes delivered by the Learning Academy. This includes designing and delivering high‑quality bespoke training, based on learning needs analysis, team manager requests, and insights from quality assurance processes. You will strengthen the quality of professional practice for those working with children and families and contribute to continuous improvement across the full casework cycle.
About You
- Qualified Social Worker.
- Experience delivering training and providing learning support.
- Know what good social work practice looks like to quality assure, support and guide others.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience using communication aids.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to providing high‑quality support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with co‑workers, a range of professionals and stakeholders.
