Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse service provider performance against contractual requirements.
  • Produce performance reports and management information to support contract management and payment processes.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Support audits, data verification, and compliance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with service providers, stakeholders, and colleagues across the council to ensure effective contract delivery.

About You:

  • Hold a relevant professional qualification or an equivalent level of expertise and experience in analysing data.
  • Have extensive knowledge of highway maintenance and management services, including the council’s statutory highway obligations.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of service contract management, ideally within highways maintenance and management.
  • Show experience of performance reporting, analysis, and compliance monitoring.
  • Be able to interpret financial, statistical, and technical information to support decision-making.
  • Possess strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Have advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to analyse data and improve processes.
