The Kingfisher Collaboration, a committed partnership of four Birmingham Local Authority‑maintained primary schools, is inviting tenders from an exceptional School Improvement Partner (SIP) to support our continued improvement journey from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027, with potential for annual renewal.
About The Opportunity
The appointed SIP will work with each school’s leadership and governors and will contribute strategically to the development of the Collaboration as a whole.
Core Services
- Targeted school improvement visits, quality assurance and written reporting (2 days per school per year)
- Attendance at three termly Collaboration strategic meetings
- Headteacher Performance Management (½ day per school per year)
- An Annual Written Report capturing school‑level progress and collaboration‑wide themes for our Joint Governing Board
- Optional support for leadership recruitment and additional commissioned CPD

- Tender Submission Deadline: 5 pm, 21 May 2026
- Shortlisting: 8 June 2026
- Interview & Presentation: 23 June 2026
