This is a politically restricted post. This is an exciting opportunity for smart individuals with experience in the field of policy, commissioning and research to make a real and genuine difference for victims of crime across the West Midlands. You should have excellent experience of working with victims of crime and internal and external stakeholders.
You will work both independently and as part of a team to support the delivery of the West Midlands Police and Crime Plan. The role will involve conducting research, leading and developing projects and initiatives across a range of subject areas and producing high quality briefings and reports. Your work will contribute directly to the delivery of the Police and Commissioner’s key priorities.
You will need to demonstrate creativity, initiative, strategic awareness and strong analytical and problem solving skills. The West Midlands is a vibrant and diverse part of the country and the Police and Crime Commissioner is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds. The permanent post will work across the victims portfolio whilst the fixed term post would specifically support with the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Fund and supporting the evaluation of this work. The fixed term post is subject to us securing funding from the Home Office.
