Stockland Green School is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Pastoral Leader to join our committed team. This pivotal role focuses on supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of our students, ensuring every individual can thrive both academically and personally. As a Pastoral Leader, you will promote a positive school culture, remove barriers to learning, and collaborate with students, families, and staff to deliver outstanding pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pastoral support for a designated house
  • Monitor and support student behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with students to promote engagement and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, safeguarding teams, and external agencies
  • Develop and implement strategies to support vulnerable and at-risk students
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers to ensure a joined‑up approach
  • Contribute to safeguarding, inclusion, and student support initiatives across the academy
