Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. In November 2023 we were graded Outstanding in every single aspect of an Ofsted Inspection.

As part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Living Skills Coach vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people. We offer three individualised study programmes for students with PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASD. Our study programmes focus on preparation for adulthood, which include:

Qualifications:
- An NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- A minimum GCSE English and Maths Grade C and above (or equivalent)
- A keen interest in horticulture, health and wellbeing
- A good understanding of how students learn and develop in education
- The ability to work with individuals and small groups of students
- Excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour
- The ability to support students in a variety of settings
