About the role: Permanent, full-time position, working 37 hours per week on a term-time only basis (0.88 FTE) starting in September 2026 at Kings Norton Girls School, an OFSTED outstanding school.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day pastoral care of students in Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with the Head of Key Stage.
- Implement and uphold the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy, ensuring behaviour incidents are managed effectively.
- Support and improve student attendance and punctuality, and deliver targeted behavioural interventions.
- Engage with families, parents/carers and external agencies to address concerns and promote student wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a consistent pastoral system.
- Provide safeguarding support and report any safeguarding concerns in line with statutory requirements.
