An exciting opportunity to be part of a national enforcement agency has arisen within Birmingham City Council's Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT).
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out complex criminal investigations and enforce delegated legislation.
- Have ownership of an individual caseload and work alongside other investigators to conduct enforcement actions.
About You:
- Full driving licence.
- Experience conducting complex investigations in specialist areas of criminal investigations.
- Interviewing suspects in accordance with PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984).
- Dealing with the public face to face.
- Knowledge of intelligence‑based systems.
- Writing statements and reports to a high standard.
- Operating for periods of time with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills building positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies.
