In this role, you will provide practical, day‑to‑day support to households experiencing homelessness, often in emergency or crisis situations. Working within one of our supported accommodation centres across the city, you will be part of a team delivering a temporary accommodation service, ensuring residents feel safe, supported and able to move forward.
Responsibilities
- Supporting residents on arrival and throughout their stay in temporary accommodation
- Assisting with housing benefit claims and basic financial arrangements
- Helping residents plan their move into longer‑term accommodation
- Carrying out room inspections and safety checks
- Responding flexibly to the needs of individuals and families
- Writing brief case notes and maintaining accurate records
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support positive outcomes
About You

Weekly Hours and Shift Pattern
Weekly hours will be on a rota-based shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts will be from 8am – 9.30pm Monday - Friday and 8am – 8.30pm on weekends.
