Washwood Heath MAT, Tile Cross Academy is a small and caring 11-16 mixed comprehensive school that was created on 1st May 2017. We are part of Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust, welcoming students from 11 to 16 years old, providing a standard of academic excellence for secondary education. We are very proud of the positive learning experience offered to our students and the support available to ensure they achieve their full potential.

Please note that you must hold the relevant qualifications for this role. To apply, you should hold a minimum of the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Please review the attached candidate pack before applying.

We are looking for a Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who:

  • Will have a sound knowledge of child development, the curriculum and supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Has experience of working in a school environment and with students in KS3 and/or KS4.
  • Is a qualified Practitioner with qualifications such as a Level 3 for Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
  • Has proven skills that will contribute to student progress.
  • Is a reflective and flexible practitioner.
  • Is committed to developing personalised learning approaches for students.
  • Will contribute to the development of the school and the Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust in raising standards.
