Birmingham City Council is seeking a Digital Mail Project Manager to join our Corporate Digital Mail Centre. The role will shape and deliver innovative, secure, and customer‑focused digital mail and hybrid communication solutions. As a Digital Mail Project Manager, you will have:
- Proven experience in operational leadership and project management, ideally within digital mail, document management, or hybrid communication environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Planet Press (Objectif Lune) or similar document/template management systems.
- A solid understanding of document composition, data merging, and multi‑channel output workflows (print, PDF, email, and digital delivery).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Strong technology and digital capability, including proficiency in Microsoft applications such as MS Teams and broader digital collaboration tools.
- A proactive and forward‑thinking approach, with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and identify emerging opportunities in digital technology and automation.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and operational priorities in a complex environment.
