Position Details: Deputy Head Teacher & SENDCo (L4 - L8) at Marsh Hill Nursery School. Permanent role, starting January 2027 or sooner. Salary: £56,022 – £61,836.

Role Overview: Governors are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher with strong early years pedagogy to join a leadership team committed to delivering the best outcomes for all children in a busy, exciting, challenging and highly rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team to deliver high standards in early years provision.
  • Lead and support teaching practice for L4 - L8 children, including those with special educational needs.
  • Contribute to the school's development and direction as a forward‑looking institution.

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Your considerable skill as an outstanding teacher with experience of working in a senior leadership role in an Early Years setting.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • A commitment to engaging and inspiring pupils and the ability to make a real difference to their learning.
  • Flexibility, commitment, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to initiate and lead positive change.
