Position: Data & Intelligence Lead, Permanent, Adult Social Care & Health Directorate – Birmingham City Council
We’re looking for an experienced leader to drive data, intelligence, and digital innovation within our Adult Social Care & Health Directorate. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the delivery of integrated data systems, improve data quality, and deliver actionable insights to support better outcomes for residents.
What You’ll Do
- Lead data governance, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and reliable data across the organization
- Act as business lead for key digital products and chair relevant boards
- Develop and deliver a clear digital product vision and roadmap
- Oversee the design of integrated data systems, pipelines, and BI solutions
- Support and deliver dashboards, reporting, and insights to inform senior decision-making
- Manage and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of data-driven improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership in data, digital, or analytics within complex organizations
- Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and data quality frameworks
- Experience delivering digital products and managing teams
- Expertise in data integration, BI tools, and analytics platforms
