This position is to support the Senior Compliance Manager in driving the Council's success in meeting its statutory health and safety obligations as a responsible landlord whilst continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents, properties, compliance, and stock condition.
As a leader of a small professional team delivering a technical gas safety service, you will be pivotal in providing senior management with assurance that gas installations, appliances, and services within its residential stock are being effectively managed. You will be expected to ensure and assure robust programmes and plans with effective monitoring and management of your team and contractors.
These programmes and plans will be based on accurate stock data and information, with key performance indicators tailored to deliver results for all parties. This position plays a crucial role in the delivery of landlord gas safety record programme, maintenance and service of associated pipes and meters, communal heating networks, carbon monoxide devices, and the management of remedial tasks and recommendations.
This will require quality data and evidence to support all related activities and an acceptable level of demonstratable compliance. Your role will be to keep the Council at the forefront of industry standards by delivering a high‑quality asset management service and contributing to a culture of trust, by creating a working environment that is supportive and high performing.
