The predicted salary is between 24413 - 24796 £ per year.

Salary and Allowances: Grade 1 - £24,413 - £24,796 FTE (£19,006.12 - 19,304.30 actual). SEN allowance £1,722 pro rata.

Hours: 32.5 hours (8:50am – 3:50pm), Monday – Friday, term time only.

Contract: Permanent and fixed term contract. Start date: 1 September 2026. Closing date: 23 June 2026. Interview date: To be confirmed.

DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required.

About the role: You will provide essential personal care to students, including assistance with toileting and personal needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. You will also support pupils' pastoral needs, helping them feel safe, valued, and understood throughout the school day. Strong written and verbal communication skills are desirable to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, supporting student wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in personal care or a care assistant role is desirable.
  • Ability to speak fluent English is essential.
  • Subject to enhanced DBS, child safeguarding checks, medical fitness, right to work and other pre‑employment checks.
