The predicted salary is between 44075 - 44075 £ per year.

This position is to support the Senior Building Manager in driving the Council’s success in meeting its statutory building safety obligations as a responsible landlord whilst continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents, properties, compliance, and stock condition.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior management with assurance that building, fire, and statutory compliance requirements within the residential stock are effectively managed.
  • Ensure and assure robust monitoring across the residential stock through site-based inspections and checks, based on accurate stock data and information.
  • Maintain key building information to inform safety case information for all parties.
  • Assure the residential stock is safe and compliant with related regulatory requirements through positive engagement with stakeholders, site-based inspections, and post-work checks.
  • Deliver a high-quality asset management service and contribute to a culture of trust, creating a supportive and high-performing working environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building safety, fire safety, or related statutory compliance roles.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary within Grade C (£35,412 - £44,075 per annum).
  • Permanent role with 36.5 hours per week.
