Assistant Achievement Coordinator (Permanent)

Hodge Hill College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our school for the role of Assistant Achievement Coordinator on a permanent contract. This role is key in supporting and developing our students\’ pastoral care and academic progress. Working closely with the Achievement Coordinator, the successful candidate will play a central role in monitoring and enhancing pastoral strategies, as well as managing the day‑to‑day leadership of a designated year group.
The role involves a range of responsibilities, including:
- Offering guidance and support to students.
- Monitoring and analysing attendance, attainment, behaviour and punctuality data.
- Acting as the primary contact for parents.
- Liaising with school departments, external agencies and parents to coordinate student welfare.
- Planning and delivering year‑group events, fostering the school’s dynamic community spirit.
This is a term‑time only appointment plus two additional weeks to support key school events such as parent evenings and trips.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to the education and welfare of young people, has strong communication skills, and can work effectively as part of a team.
