Permanent position. Grade 6 - £54,495‑£64,811. Working 36.5 hours per week.

We are looking for a results‑driven Operations Manager to lead our Adult Social Care income and debt collection team, maximising recoveries to help protect essential frontline services for the city’s most vulnerable residents. This is a senior operational role with real accountability and an opportunity to shape the team going forward. If you enjoy turning data into action and leading a team through improvement and change, this is the role for you.

You’ll take ownership of performance and service quality across Adult Social Care collections. Leading your team you’ll use insight, strong controls and smart processes to drive recovery improvement while keeping fairness, inclusion and customer experience front and centre. You’ll manage external partners, including legal and collection providers, and contribute to policies, Cabinet reports and corporate priorities.

  • Strong background in income collection or debt recovery
  • Proven success improving performance and leading change
  • Confidence with data and senior stakeholders
