Role Overview
We are recruiting a Benefits Advisor to join an efficient, dedicated, customer‑focused team, responsible for administering Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction in a secure and modern way.
Responsibilities
- Administer Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction schemes.
- Provide advice and assistance to customers and recover overpaid benefit.
- Use complex software systems accurately and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in all records.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the Benefits environment is desirable (full training can be given).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer care.
- Proficiency in complex software systems.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a pressured environment.
Benefits & Working Conditions
- Salary: £31,022 – £33,699 per annum.
- Permanent full‑time contract, 37 hours per week.
- Home working contract.
