The Excel Academy is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding & Attendance Officer. You will work collaboratively to ensure every student’s well-being and consistent access to education, raising standards across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will support and encourage staff, students and parents to promote a culture of pride and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure student well-being and consistent attendance, raising standards and expectations throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Work collaboratively with staff, students and parents to support student progress and address safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and safeguarding incidents.
- Communicate effectively, with accurate spoken English, to the public, staff and students.
- Exceptional spoken English and communication skills; able to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence.
- Subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service, an online social media check and other stringent vetting and induction processes (exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974).
