Make a difference by helping people build successful tenancies.

Are you passionate about helping people overcome challenges and live independently?

Do you enjoy building positive relationships, providing practical support and helping people achieve your goals?

If so, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

Every day is different. You'll work with housing applicants, tenants and people in temporary accommodation, providing personalised support to help them secure and sustain successful tenancies.

You’ll help customers identify solutions to the challenges they face, develop independence and access the support they need to improve their wellbeing and maintain their home.

The role combines customer support, case management, problem-solving and partnership working. A key part of the role involves helping customers improve their financial wellbeing through budgeting support, income maximisation, welfare benefit advice and debt management guidance.

We’re Looking For People Who Can Demonstrate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships and engage customers effectively
  • Empathy, resilience and emotional intelligence
  • Strong organisational and case management skills
  • A practical and solution-focused approach
  • Confidence supporting customers with a range of housing and tenancy-related challenges
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations
  • An understanding of financial wellbeing, budgeting and welfare benefits, or the willingness to develop this knowledge

What You’ll Bring

You will be motivated by helping people, comfortable managing a varied caseload and able to work independently while remaining part of a supportive team.

Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to helping residents sustain their homes, improve their wellbeing and achieve greater independence. You'll work closely with customers and partner agencies to identify solutions, overcome barriers and achieve positive long-term outcomes.

A full driving licence is required for this role.

Appointment to this post will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. A Basic check will be required. This will contain details of convictions and conditional cautions considered to be ‘unspent’ under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
