North Warwickshire Borough Council is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Tenancy Services Officer to join our Housing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of council tenancies, helping residents to sustain their homes and communities while delivering a high-quality housing management service. North Warwickshire Borough Council provides housing services to over 2,600 tenants.

As a Tenancy Services Officer, you will be at the heart of our neighbourhoods, working directly with tenants to:

  • Manage and sustain council tenancies
  • Collect rent and income
  • Investigate and resolve tenancy issues and complaints
  • Enforce tenancy conditions where necessary
  • Maintain safe, well-managed homes

No two days are the same. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer support with tenancy enforcement and who is motivated by achieving positive outcomes for residents. You will also have a full valid driving licence.

Requirements

You will have experience working in social housing or a similar customer-focused environment and be able to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of housing legislation, regulation and good practice
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities
  • Confidence in handling challenging situations professionally
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
