Post: Assistant Transactional Services Officer

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Grade E & £24,790 – £25,183

Hours: 37

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Location: Council Offices and remote/hybrid working

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with a multi award-winning council. The role involves assisting the Accounts Payable Officer in the Payment of supplier invoices in line with agreed payments terms. Assisting the Accounts Receivable Officer in the issue and collection of income due in line with credit terms. Also assisting the Payroll Officers with the processing of overtime forms.

The person

We are looking for an ambitious individual that needs to be highly motivated and be able to work on their own initiative. You will need to be able to prioritise your own workload and be able to assist your colleagues with queries. You will need to be approachable as you will need to assist service teams with queries.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the transactional services and the Finance teams.
