Permanent, full time 37 hours per week for 39.2 weeks per year (term-time only plus 6 INSET days).
Salary: Grade 7 (SCP 15-22) £30,024 - £33,699 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £26,072.28 - £29,263.58 per annum.
John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) seeks a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Assistant SENDCo to coordinate the support provision for students with Special Educational Needs. You will work under the direction of the Headteacher and SENDCo to:
- Coordinate all requirements for the annual reviews of students with individual needs, gathering necessary documentation, distributing it to relevant parties, attending review meetings, and ensuring completed paperwork is released appropriately after the review.
- Oversee the deployment of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), ensuring staffing is effectively allocated to meet the needs of students and that support is delivered efficiently across the school.
- Deliver tailored interventions in your area(s) of interest and expertise, as required.
- Act as a role model, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect.
Applicants will require strong organisational skills, a collaborative approach to working with educators and specialists, and a clear commitment to the success of all learners.
