Coten End Primary School is a large, highly regarded three‑form entry primary school in Warwick, with 654 pupils on roll. We are pleased to offer a rare and exciting opportunity to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Headteacher (SENDCo). This is a non‑class‑based role, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to make a significant strategic impact across the school supporting the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. The Assistant Head/SENDCo will lead and further develop SEND provision across the school, working closely with staff, parents, pupils and external agencies to ensure that individual needs are identified early and supported effectively. You will play a key role in shaping inclusive practice, supporting high‑quality teaching and learning, and promoting positive outcomes for all learners.

Working under the direction of the Executive Headteacher, the Head of School and the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion), you will continue to grow as a leader, supported by high‑quality professional development opportunities. Our senior leadership structure includes two Deputy Headteachers, working closely with the Head of School and Executive Headteacher. This new additional role, joining the SLT, would suit an experienced and ambitious leader seeking to further develop their leadership journey as part of a supportive and forward‑thinking senior leadership team.
