Overview

Willenhall Primary School invites applications for an Assistant Head Teacher with Primary experience. The successful candidate will have strong subject leadership and be an excellent classroom practitioner. You will be forward thinking, innovative in leadership and demonstrate a passion for achieving the best outcomes for our children.

We would like you to have a passion for overcoming barriers for vulnerable pupils. Work collaboratively with our highly motivated team of caring and dedicated professionals, who believe in the development of the whole child. Love learning and innovating and be committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils, particularly vulnerable children. Be committed to your own professional development and leading the professional development of others. Be able to model outstanding teaching and learning based on high expectations of pupils and inspire other colleagues to achieve their potential. Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support your team with energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong subject leadership and model outstanding teaching and learning based on high expectations of pupils.
  • Lead, motivate, inspire and support the team with energy and enthusiasm; collaborate to develop the whole child.
  • Be forward thinking and innovative in leadership; lead the professional development of others.
  • Work to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils, with a particular focus on vulnerable children.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Primary experience and a track record as an excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Strong subject leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and others.
  • A passion for overcoming barriers for vulnerable pupils.
