About The Role
- Hours: 37 per week
- Salary: Soulbury Assistant Educational Psychologist Scale Point 2 (£35,228) pro rata
- Contract: Term Time only – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities
- Contribute positively and complement service delivery under EP supervision.
- Support statutory and early‑intervention educational psychology services to schools across Herefordshire.
- Develop and apply knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN.
- Provide advice and interventions in schools and other settings as directed by the supervising EP.
- Contribute to service development and training for schools.
Qualifications
- Honours degree in psychology or equivalent, with up‑to‑date knowledge of child development and application of psychology in educational or community settings.
- Recent and relevant work experience in child development, education, or related to special educational needs.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills; understanding of contexts in which psychological services, schools and settings operate.
- Confidence working remotely and autonomously.
- Ability to travel independently to engage with schools and other settings.
- Expectation to apply for an Educational Psychology Doctorate after the fixed‑term period.
