Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and driven education professional to lead the delivery of our post-16 learning programmes. This senior leadership role is vital to maintaining the high standards of teaching and learning that underpin our Good-rated Ofsted status.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of post-16 learning programmes, coordinating delivery across Study Programmes and adult learning pathways.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, DfE, and awarding body requirements.
- Lead and support a team of tutors, ensuring high-quality teaching practice, consistent learner outcomes, and responsive support for individual learner needs.
- Manage services in a post-16 environment and lead Study Programmes; support learners with additional needs; contribute to safeguarding as a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 4).
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-16 teaching qualification (recognised).
- Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualifications.
- Experience in post-16 education, adult skills provision, and safeguarding as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 4).
- In-depth knowledge of the post-16 skills agenda, tailored learning, and adult education.
Requirements and Compliance
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults (the role is subject to a DBS check).
- Role subject to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 exemptions as applicable.
