Overview
Warwickshire County Council’s Youth Service is recruiting two part-time Assistant Youth Workers to join our team. Roles at Lillington Youth Centre and Ratcliffe Youth Centre.
We’re a small, dedicated team of JNC qualified youth workers within Children’s Services, delivering evidence based support that makes a real difference. Young people aged 11 to 18 are at the heart of what we do.
Responsibilities
- Support evening youth club sessions, engage with young people through activities, mentoring and informal education.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and inspiring space for young people.
- Build strong relationships with families and local services as part of a locality and multi agency approach.
- Collaborate with team to deliver youth work that aligns with our Families First framework and Warwickshire’s Children and Families service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people is ideal but not essential – training and support are provided.
- Positive, proactive attitude and genuine interest in youth development.

Role Details
- Lillington Youth Centre
- Hours: 5.5 hours per week
- Days: Monday 6:00–8:30pm & Tuesday 6:00–9:00pm
- Role: Supporting evening youth club sessions, engaging with young people through activities, mentoring, and informal education.
- The Ratcliffe Centre
- Hours: 2.5 hours per week
- Day: One evening per week (6:00–8:45pm)
- Role: Supporting our youth club, helping to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring space for young people.
