(Includes day release for college study) WMG is recruiting an Apprentice Technician to join its established 4-Year Technical Apprenticeship Programme. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands‑on technical experience within a leading research department with academic study toward a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship, delivered through Warwickshire College Group. The apprentice will be part of the Technical Services team, supporting world‑class research facilities and developing core engineering skills across a wide range of advanced manufacturing and materials technologies.
Training and Experience Includes:
- Advanced machining and fabrication
- Additive manufacturing
- Automation systems
- Battery materials and cell manufacturing
- Energy and intelligent vehicle technologies
- Materials characterisation and testing
- Metrology and 3D imaging
- Polymers, composites, steel processing, and nanomaterials
- Health & safety, compliance, and workshop best practice
About You:

Selection Process: Following shortlisting, successful Stage 1 applicants will be invited to attend the Technical Apprentice Assessment Day.
