We are seeking an experienced Lead for English to join our team as Head of Department. This role will lead the English and Literature department, delivering outstanding teaching at Key Stage 4, inspiring both staff and students, and driving continuous improvement in student outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- - Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching English at secondary level
- - Proven leadership skills within an educational setting
- - Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 4 curriculum in English and Literature
- - Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learner needs
- - Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- - Experience in monitoring student progress and implementing effective interventions
