Solution Architect - Law Firm - London

We\’re working with a well-established UK law firm, now seeking a Solution Architect to help drive the firm\’s ongoing technology transformation. This is a key technical role reporting into the Head of IT and the Head of Business Systems, working to ensure the firm\’s technology environment is secure, high-performing, and continuously evolving. You\’ll work across all business areas to identify pain points, deliver architectural improvements, and introduce new solutions that streamline service delivery and enhance user experience. The Role Design, implement, and test robust architecture solutions in line with business requirements Drive improvements to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity measures Identify opportunities to optimise legal workflows and service delivery Develop and manage system and API integrations (using SQL, JSON, OData, REST APIs) Build and maintain a data warehouse aligned with best practice data management standards Enhance and connect business systems using Microsoft Power Apps and the broader M365 stack Work closely with stakeholders to align technical strategy with overall firm goals Participate in an emergency out-of-hours rota and flexible shift coverage as needed What You\’ll Bring Strong knowledge of architecture across software, infrastructure, and data integration Broad understanding of IT systems common to legal firms: iManage, 3E, Intapp, Mimecast, Litera, Tessian Proven experience in writing and managing API integrations and developing data solutions Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and M365 ecosystem Strong working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and services High-level understanding of hybrid working support and mobile tech needs This is an exciting opportunity to shape the technology landscape of a historic yet forward-thinking law firm, leveraging cloud-first infrastructure, process innovation, and cutting-edge tools to drive long-term impact.
