WMC Training is seeking a dedicated Nursery Apprentice to join the professional, rewarding, and supportive team at a nursery based in Wallingford OX10 6SH. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery and maintaining the delivery of high standards of care and education to all children. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience working with children, a genuine interest in developing the talent of younger generations, and a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives. You will be a collaborative team member, equally capable of taking initiative, and adept at planning enriching activities.
DUTIES
- Assist with planning and delivering fun, educational activities
- Support children’s personal care, routines, and wellbeing
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in childcare and early years education

- GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them)
Job Types: Full-time Permanent
Schedule: 8am - 6pm (Monday - Thursday), 8am - 5:30pm (Friday) - Hours will be reduced if you are below 18
