Do you have a genuine passion for leading and nurturing young learners, coupled with proven experience managing a nursery effectively? WMC Training is seeking a dedicated Nursery Apprentice to join the professional, rewarding, and supportive team at a nursery based in Wallingford OX10 6SH. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery and maintaining the delivery of high standards of care and education to all children.

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience working with children, a genuine interest in developing the talent of younger generations, and a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives. You will be a collaborative team member, equally capable of taking initiative, and adept at planning enriching activities.

DUTIES
  • Assist with planning and delivering fun, educational activities
  • Support children’s personal care, routines, and wellbeing
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • A genuine interest in childcare and early years education
  • Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them)
