The ideal candidate will bring previous experience working with children, a genuine interest in developing the talent of younger generations, and a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives. You will be a collaborative team member, equally capable of taking initiative, and adept at planning enriching activities.
DUTIESYour duties as a Nursery Apprentice:
- To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members).
- To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child’s life.
- Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
- Must have prior nursery experience.
- Willing to learn a qualification.
- Ability to write clear objective observations.
- Commitment to complete a childcare qualification.
Career Progression: Opportunities to advance to roles such as early years educator, room leader, and management roles.
Benefits:
- 4 days a week (Flexible hours) - 38 hours.
- Salary - from £7.55 per hour dependent on age and experience.
- Holidays - 20 days & 8 bank holidays, pro rata.
