Salary: Salary to be discussed dependant on experiance.
WMB – Wearside Mercedes Benz Independent Specialists is a small but very busy team of five, specialising mainly in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. We take pride in providing high-quality workmanship and value the people who work for us.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team in Sunderland (SR5). This is a full-time, permanent position, not an apprenticeship, so previous experience working in a motor vehicle garage is essential.
We understand the importance of a good work–life balance and believe our staff should have time to enjoy life outside work. That's why we work Monday to Friday only, do not work weekends or bank holidays, and have time off over Christmas and New Year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault-finding, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. You will need good mechanical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Experience working with Mercedes-Benz vehicles or using Mercedes-Benz XENTRY diagnostic equipment would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are happy to provide training on XENTRY for the right candidate who has the relevant experience, skills and willingness to learn.
If you are an experienced technician looking for a permanent role within a busy specialist garage that values its staff and offers a better work–life balance, we would love to hear from you.
