The predicted salary is between 25064 - 25975 € per year.

Your role is to ensure our trains are clean and tidy. You will be working as part of a team at Worcester depot, responsible for cleaning our trains ready for customer journeys.

What does the role involve?

  • Use of specialist cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Take responsibility for materials and equipment provided to carry out tasks required
  • Complete audit sheets as required and report non-conformances to Train Presentation Supervisor
  • Disposal of rubbish removed from trains in the appropriate location
  • Remove full bin liners and re-line on train bins when found full or nearly full
  • Fit seat reservation labels where required by local arrangements

Please note this is permanent night shift.

What skills and experience do I need to do the job?

  • A willingness to learn and work to company set standards
  • Flexibility – you could be on an early or a late shift, meaning you could be starting at 6am or finishing at 10pm, including weekends
  • Being a great communicator – both written and verbal communication
  • Happy to be training on how to handle bio-hazards and sharps
  • Being happy to work on and off trains and platforms at stations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in work
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Organised
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to work night shifts
