We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Bakery Operative working mainly within our Savoury Department. The position is based within Rosyth.
What You’ll Do
- The main duties will be assisting in the production of our award-winning products to the highest standards of food safety, output, quality, hygiene and health & safety.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Working safely at all times in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation.
- Operating pie machine.
- Tinning up products.
- Filling and lidding pies.
- Cutting and shredding vegetables for soup.
- Cleaning your work area ensuring a high standard of hygiene/sanitation.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience within a Bakery environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
What You’ll Receive
- Pay: £11.48 per hour
- Permanent contract after successful completion of a probationary period.
- Hours per week: 39 hour contracts available with the opportunity to pick up overtime readily available.
- Working 5 days over 7 (Monday to Sunday inclusive).
- Start time: 6am.
- Pay bands: Opportunities to earn extra by taking on additional responsibilities and learning more duties.
