About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance store performance and profitability by continually challenging our current ways of working.
• Fostering a culture of innovation in the store and encouraging new ideas.
• Listening and responding to customers and colleagues to ensure the customer experience is central to all decisions.
• Cultivating a high‑performance culture through talent development, succession planning and supportive leadership.
• Working with Head Office teams to optimise product availability and support Morrisons as a one‑stop shopping destination.
• Building and managing relationships with the local community and marketing the store to stand out as a community pillar.

About you

Experience and skills required:

• Experience managing a store in a fast‑paced food retail environment.
• Strong leadership with the capacity to listen and respond.
• Excellent coaching ability and feedback delivery.
• A passion for spotting and developing talent and creating a successful team culture.
• The ability to resolve challenges and build trust within the store team.
• A natural skill in setting clear objectives linked directly to each department and aligned with Morrisons priorities.
• A capacity to create a collaborative culture that values diverse opinions and behaviours.
