Role Overview
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of our projects, from pre-contract planning to post-contract completion. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in cost control, risk management, tendering, and contractual administration. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost forecasts.
- Support the team in cost analysis, reporting, and value management.
- Help establish client requirements and prepare budget cost studies.
- Contribute to risk analysis and the development of commercial strategies.
- Assist in preparing interim valuations, final accounts, and payment arrangements.
- Liaise with contract staff, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Use software such as EasyEarthworks, Excel, Word, Project, Constructa, and Entropy.
