We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sessional Ceramics Tutor to deliver a new course, Bengali-Inspired Tiles: Mythology, Flora, and Life.
The role will involve teaching classes on Monday mornings (10:00-13:00) and occasional Saturday tester sessions (10:00-16:00).
We are looking for an experienced ceramics tutor with an interest in supporting students to explore Bengali mythology and flora, as inspiration for ceramic tile making. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching adult learners and be confident in supporting a range of abilities.
A PGCert in Education (or equivalent teaching qualification) is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one.
Strong links to industry associations, guilds, or other educational institutions, along with evidence of an active professional practice, will be viewed favourably.
