Wm Brown & Co (Maintenance) Ltd provide servicing and repair to life safety systems throughout Scotland and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to run our small warehouse in an independent role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and reliable company who pride ourselves on the quality of work we deliver for our clients and are excited to welcome the right candidate. Full training on our in-house operating systems would be provided to ensure the correct candidate has the knowledge to complete the tasks required.
Pay: £13.45PH
Location: East Kilbride, Scotland
Hours: Part Time - Flexible
Duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that the collection and delivery of goods are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.
- Control of all materials in and out of the warehouse, including unloading/loading of deliveries.
- Assist in the breaking down and disposal of recyclable materials.
- Delivery of materials to various site locations when required (van will be provided for occasional use).
- Aid in the ordering of materials.
- Carrying out stock takes and updating stock levels on our system.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept tidy at all times.
- Work within established company policies and procedures.
- Carry out any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer need.
Skills and Experience:
- Fork Lift Truck Licence preferable (training offered if required).
- Full Clean Drivers Licence.
- Good Organisational and Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures.
- Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
