We are currently looking for Class 1 Milk Reload Drivers to join our Milk Operations team, based out of Preston, with opportunities to work either dayshift or nightshift on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Benefits Include:

  • Dayshift Salary= £33,954.41 per annum (including meal allowance*)
  • Nightshift Salary= £37,054.71 per annum (including meal allowance*)

*Non-taxable meal allowance of £1873 included in above salaries detailed. Meal allowance is payable when in attendance at work.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within our Milk operations team, delivering milk to dairies throughout England, Wales and Scotland from our depots in Cumbria and Lancashire on milk reload tankers.
  • Following procedures for activities associated with milk collection and delivery to dairies.
  • Following procedures for relevant sampling and checks in line with food safety.
  • Working as part of a team, providing a professional service to our customers.
  • Keeping in regular contact with office team for updates on status and progress to support in managing customers expectations.
  • Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.
  • Experience and knowledge of the milk haulage industry is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative.

To be successful in this role you will be a real team player, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
