We are currently looking for Class 1 Milk Reload Drivers to join our Milk Operations team, based out of Preston, with opportunities to work either dayshift or nightshift on a 4on 4off shift pattern.
Benefits Include:
- Dayshift Salary = £33,954.41 per annum (including meal allowance*)
- Nightshift Salary = £37,054.71 per annum (including meal allowance*)

*Non-taxable meal allowance of £1873 included in above salaries detailed. Meal allowance is payable when in attendance at work.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within our Milk operations team, delivering milk to dairies throughout England, Wales and Scotland from our depots in Cumbria and Lancashire on milk reload tankers.
- Following procedures for activities associated with milk collection and delivery to dairies.
- Following procedures for relevant sampling and checks in line with food safety.
- Working as part of a team, providing a professional service to our customers.
- Keeping in regular contact with office team for updates on status and progress to support in managing customers expectations.
- Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence.
- Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.
- Experience and knowledge of the milk haulage industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative.
- To be successful in this role you will be a real team player, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
