We are currently looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our Livestock team, based out of Longtown, with opportunities to work either dayshift or nightshift, working 5 days per week.
Benefits Include:
- Weekday dayshift rate of £16.11
- Weekday nightshift rate of £16.73
- Weekend dayshift rate of £18.62
- Weekend nightshift rate of £19.28

- Driver Efficiency Bonus Scheme: Earn up to £1,500 per annum (full-time equivalent)
- Trainee rates will apply where training is required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a professional and efficient HGV driving service, undertaking deliveries and collections of livestock on behalf of Wm Armstrong Group in the North of Scotland and England.
- Keep in regular contact with the office teams for updates on progress and managing customers' expectations.
- Liaise effectively with external customers, which include farmers as required.
- Have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work additional hours that can occur during peak periods.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence, a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.
- No Class 1 license? We could consider comprehensive training to help you get qualified.
- Experience and knowledge of Livestock and/or farming background is preferred.
- Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative.
