Williams Lea seeks an Office Services Operator to join our team! Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.
Purpose of role
The role of Office Services Operator is to provide professional office services, print and mail room service to all employees and contractors. You will assist the client to meet deadlines and produce a high standard of work, putting the customer first and foremost, demonstrating excellent customer service skills while helping to run an efficient service.
Key responsibilities:
- Scan, print and copy documents for the client making sure work is quality checked and sent back correctly.
- Deal with incoming post. Sort and scan everything and e-mail to the relevant departments.
- Deal with outgoing post by Franking/Royal Mail click and crop.
- Book couriers and deal with incoming couriers quickly and efficiently.
- Build relationship with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations.
- Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients.
- Comply with departmental procedures.
- Assist with stationery. Check and stock cupboards, record items that need ordering.
Personal attributes:
- A willing and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous Post room and Reprographics experience would be preferable but not essential.
- Good customer service skills.
- Able to think outside the box and make decisions if required in the absence of the Senior Operator.
- Able to handle difficult situations well and to act appropriately.
- Display an adaptable and flexible approach.
- Team player - not only within the team but happy to help out wherever required to get the job done.
