We’re recruiting a Calibration Engineer to join a growing calibration team supporting customers across a range of sectors. This role would suit someone with a background in mechanical, electrical, or torque calibration who enjoys a mix of hands‑on technical work and quality‑driven documentation.
The Role
- Depending on your preference and experience, you can be lab‑based or site‑based, carrying out calibration, verification, and reporting across customer equipment and standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Calibrate and verify equipment in line with documented procedures and quality standards
- Work across mechanical / electrical / torque disciplines (based on your strengths)
- Produce accurate certificates, reports, and supporting records
- Support fault‑finding, minor repairs, and technical queries where needed
- Maintain traceability and uphold best practice around measurement uncertainty and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Calibration experience in mechanical, electrical and/or torque
- Comfortable working to quality systems (ISO/UKAS‑aligned environments)
- Strong attention to detail with paperwork/certification
- Full UK driving licence (for on‑site roles)
- UKAS signatory status (or working towards) — advantageous, not essential
