About this role
You’ll work closely with managers and the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Willows Training Centre. Key focus will be ensuring every guest has a positive and memorable experience, managing the heads of departments and supporting in the development of the venues team. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, along with ongoing support from a dedicated management team.
What we’re looking for:
- Enthusiasm for getting stuck in and supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- The ability to motivate and drive the team.
- Excellent communication to all customers, team members and departments.
- To work closely with the Meetings and Events team to successfully deliver conference and training events.
- The ability to delegate tasks and supervise management and their teams.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week.
- The ability to complete tasks efficiently and to given deadlines.
- The ability to deliver training to team members in all areas of department and ensure consistency in delivery.
- To deputise for the venue manager in their absence.
- The confidence to oversee the running of the venue as Duty Manager.
