About this role… An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor. You will be working closely with the team to oversee the smooth day to day running of the department. Your key focus will be running our Gravel Pit Café-Bar and assisting the team with banqueting and duty management shifts. The Gravel Pit Café-Bar offers a great range of smashed burgers, pizzas and wings, backed up with great hospitality from our team. A wide range of drinks are on offer, along with sky sports and plenty of gamification including shuffleboard, electronic darts, and PlayStation 5’s. If you want to work in a buzzing, upbeat and fast-paced atmosphere, this is the role for you!
What we’re looking for…
- Knowledge of running a busy bar including basic knowledge of rotas, F&B systems, beverage stock and ordering
- Confidence in running busy shifts and managing loud atmosphere
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- The ability to upsell and motivate team members into doing this
- Excellent communication to all customers, including team members
- The ability to delegate tasks and supervise team members
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week
- The ability to think on your feet, respond quickly and problem solve effectively
- Have the confidence in thinking of cost-effective new ideas, keeping on top of trends and being creative in everything you do
